Problem Note 43947: The SAS® 9.2 Deployment Manager shortcut is overwritten by the SAS® 9.3 Deployment Manager shortcut

If SAS 9.3 is installed on a machine with an existing SAS 9.2 installation, only one SAS Deployment Manager is listed in the Start ► Programs ► SAS menu. This SAS Deployment Manager shortcut points to the newly installed SAS 9.3 Deployment Manager. No reference to the SAS 9.2 Deployment Manager is present in the Start ► Programs ► SAS menu.
To utilize the SAS 9.2 SAS Deployment Manager under these circumstances, perform the following steps:
- Open Windows Explorer. On Windows XP, select Start ► Run and type explorer. On Windows 7, double-click the folders icon in the taskbar), as shown below:
- Navigate to C:\Program Files\SAS\SASDeploymentManager\9.2\.
- Double-click the config.exe file.
